Stephen D. Alison, CFP
Stephen D. Alison, Certified Financial Planner (CFP), is the
principal and founder of Alison, LLC. His goal has always been to
improve financial planning methods and he works diligently to keep
refining the process. Early in his 25 year investment management and
financial planning career, Stephen authored the software program
“Retirement Income Analyzer” to assist PERS Employees with planning
their retirement. He also spearheaded the development of Alison LLC's
up-to-the-minute, self-updating financial plans system, a structure
offered by only a few financial firms in the area.
One of Stephen’s specializations is retirement plan management; he has
overseen over $300 million in assets and groups ranging from 10 to
2,000 participants.
Through his direction, the company’s diversified financial and tax
divisions work together to provide clients a full spectrum of services.
With the work of financial teams, clients receive a greater depth of
talent and expertise delivering knowledgeable, objective, and
personalized service.
Kay Anthony, CPA
Kay Anthony, CPA, is the founder of Alison, LLC Tax Services
and has worked with Stephen for many years specilaizing in individual
and partnership tax returns as well as general tax consulting and group
retirement plan administration. She works in conjunction with
Alison, LLC's Group Retirement team to provide unique insite into
retirement plans.
Kay is a graduate from the University of Oregon, and has
worked in public accounting and retirement plan administration
for 33 years. Among those years, she counts extensive experience as a
third party administrator (record keeper) for qualified retirement
plans.
Daniel J. Claric
Daniel J. Claric is a fully licensed financial professional. In his position, he
focuses on executing and monitoring the firm’s investment philosophy
and strategies. He oversees the investment research and trading
department and has a wealth of experience and competence reviewing and
monitoring fund selection, portfolio managers, and investment
strategies. As the research, analysis, and portfolio management team
leader, Daniel has worked closely with the technical research staff to
develop and implement tracking and monitoring systems for mutual funds
based on a series of benchmarks and selection criteria.
Daniel graduated with honors from the University of Oregon’s College of
Arts and Sciences with a degree in Economics. He holds financial
investment certifications Series 7 and 66 and has worked in the
financial industry for seven years as a registered representative and
investment advisor representative.
Support Staff
Jason A. Shannon
Jason A. Shannon is a trading assistant and a
certified notary public for the State of Oregon. Jason is responsible
for researching and documenting market trends and
movements, tracking fund and portfolio performance, determining proper
asset allocation strategies based on client investment goals and
objectives, and portfolio and fund performance report generation. In
addition to Jason’s financial responsibilities, he also handles the
firm’s publicity and marketing.
Jason graduated from the University of Oregon’s School of
Journalism and
Communication with a degree in Electronic Media and Advertising. He is
currently studying for his Series 66 licensing.
